Bascially over my time on this earth I've realised I'm really not well equipped for a standard education. I recently tried, and failed to do the whole University Student life thing. I'm lacking in quite a few much needed skills; organisation, critical writing, time keeping, forthought and planning, and so many more.
So with this blog I hope, by the time next september rolls around, I'll have all of those skills and more, and be able to fit my triangular head into the square hole everyone asks of me. I plan (hey look at that, step one.) to accomplish this in a few ways, namely setting myself easy, achievable, regular goals;
For the first month or so I'm going to be regularly uploading a 'Character Breakdown', a written piece on a character I already know well where I simply try to understand why they interest me, what part they play in the greater story and so on. I'll also accompany these with artwork of said character that I'll be drawing while writing the piece. Since showing my work is an important part of any blossoming artists life I'll also be uploading every shitty sketch I do before the final artwork as well.
To give myself an extra constraint the characters I choose will be in alphabetical order, and cannot be from the same show/game/book as another.
Next month I'll do something else, not quite sure yet what exactly that will be but it will be nice to give myself something different to do, otherwise I'll likely get bored.
I'll also be doing some 'Side Stuff' along the way, just little tiny fun projects unrelated to anything else to keep myself interested.
I'm terrible at ending things.
